Android Based Mail Management Application Design (Case Study of Sumber Bening Village)

The Sumber Bening Village Office currently faces problems in the process of mail management, namely the process of recording, archiving and searching for mail files, which is still done conventionally, which often causes inefficient processes, takes a long time and is prone to damage and loss of mail files. Therefore, an android based mail management application was designed which aims to assist village officials in the process of managing mail data using a qualitative approach method for data collection, namely interviews, observations and literature studies, in the development of the system using the waterfall method.The result of this study is an android based mail management application which is able to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of mail management at Sumber Bening Village Office by showing improved performance in terms of mail data recording, disposition management and digital archive storage. The design of an Android-based mail management application at the Sumber Bening Village Office has been successfully implemented. This application is able to simplify the process of archiving and managing letters and increase efficiency and effectiveness.
