“ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHATANI CABAI MERAH”(Studi Kasus pada Usahatani Cabai di Desa Sumber Urip, Kecamatan Selupu Rejang, Kabupaten Rejang Lebong)

Abstract

The research on the analysis of income from red chili farming in Sumber Urip Village, Selupu Rejang District, Rejang Lebong Regency aims to calculate the costs incurred by red chili farmers, calculate the revenue and income of red chili farmers, and determine the feasibility of red chili farming in Sumber Urip Village, Selupu Rejang District, Rejang Lebong Regency. This research was conducted in July 2024 in Sumber Urip Village, Selupu Rejang District, Rejang Lebong Regency, based on the consideration that chili farming in the area is considered successful, as evidenced by the increasing annual production compared to other villages. The research used a sampling method, namely purposive sampling, by distributing questionnaires to 21 respondents. According to Sugiyono (2016), purposive sampling is a sampling technique for data sources based on certain considerations. The results of this study showed that the income from red chili farming in Sumber Urip Village, Sindang Dataran District, Rejang Lebong Regency, amounted to Rp. 182,415,350.28 per hectare with an R/C Ratio of 10.77, meaning a profit of Rp. 10.77 for every Rp. 1 spent by the farmers.
